People of all ages, from teens to young adults to older adults, suffer from anxiety.
While its name, to some, implies a slightly heightened level of stress, nothing could be further from the truth. Anxiety can be experienced through thoughts, behaviors, and/or physical symptoms, consequently overwhelming the sufferer. For some, negative cognitions and irrational worries become paralyzing. This is no way to live! Counseling sessions provide a positive environment where you can reverse these effects on your mind, body, and soul, resulting in a more peaceful, less anxious you. I have struggled with anxiety since I was in high school. I’ve seen multiple therapists and no one has really helped.
